Oatka was the grand finale of ROC's fall orienteering season and it did not disappoint. Karl's courses were enjoyed by 174 individuals. It was exciting to have the Wilson Magnet School 's Outdoor Club bring a group of bright and energetic students, teachers, and parents who can "really " orienteer. We were impressed by the enthusiasm and energy of Scout troops 26, 127 and 140.

The Registration line was a long one and we apologize to all for the time you spent standing in lines. The club has experimented with several, more complicated formats, but we seem to return to the one table, two person format. Limited manpower and an unpredictable turnout are challenges that make a perfect registration process one of those "pie in the sky" goals. Be that as it may, ROC will keep trying to make your orienteering experience a fun, relaxing, and adventurous way to spend your Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
